For the second consecutive year, Unity Savings sponsored the 2008 Kingston General Hospital Auxiliary Teddy Bear Campaign. This years theme was “Paws for Comfort” and a total of $24,200 was successfully raised for the purchase of a pediatric cardio respiratory monitor.

Over the holidays, 300 bears were distributed to pediatric patients in need of comfort at Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital. “We are thankful for the generous support from the community in making this year’s campaign such a success,” says Auxiliary co-chair Alice Robertson.
